Where the
name comes from.

The name comes from ISTAR — Intelligence, Surveillance, Target Acquisition and Reconnaissance. A system that the military use to integrate technology, intelligence and decision making on operations — enabling informed action appropriate to the risks. In the field ISTAR saves lives and enables combative advantage. Human Performance is enhanced through a layered system. Our forces are prepared through insight and therefore respond effectively under pressure rather than react to the unexpected, unprepared.

Eyestar carries that idea out of uniform and into civilian life. The threats are different — psychosocial pressure, security risk, untrained teams, the slow erosion of capability — but the principle holds. Insight prevents harm. Preparation outperforms reaction. Well trained humans backed by effective systems save lives, protect assets and increase human and organisational resilience.
